| Michael D. Maurice has an engineering background and experience in the sales of manufacturing services. He earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, and an MBA with a Major in Information Technology from Colorado State University. After completing school, Michael worked for Alabama Industrial Development Training as an operations manager. From there, he moved on to become a mechanical engineer with Quadrum Telecommunications, where he was responsible for managing the development and production of advanced public telecommunication systems. Michael then went on to serve at Rapid Tech Engineering, Inc., where he developed and interacted with customers in providing product development services before becoming a founding member of Quickparts. Michael’s passion is digging deep into a system to figure out what makes things tick. He then strives to make them better or find ways to use technology to do new things. He feels that “the culture at Quickparts is what made the company what it is today. Business models can be copied and reproduced but the soul of a business, its culture, can not be replicated.” |
