Mark D. Mackie is leading the QuickARC business division. Mark has led the QuickARC innovation process by developing the technology and techniques that apply advanced layer-based manufacturing processes to the architectural world, and the printing of real plastic interactive models.
Mark provides extensive experience in high technology sales and marketing in the manufacturing environment. Mark has developed marketing programs for technical products targeted at both the executive decision-maker and the operations-level user. He earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University and a MS in Engineering Management from the University of South Florida. His formal corporate training includes graduation from GE’s prestigious Edison Engineering Leadership Program, a formalized corporate training curriculum designed to provide young leaders hands-on experience in corporate management and operations. Prior to joining Quickparts, Mark was a territory sales manager for 3D Systems, the market-leading manufacturer of Stereolithography equipment. This hands-on experience has provided a strong understanding of the customer personality and expectations for build-to-order manufacturing services. Prior to 3D Systems, he was a senior sales manager for Rand Technologies, the world’s largest distributor of engineering software and hardware. Mark was the first territory manager for BPM Technology, managing regional sales and marketing activities for a start-up technology company that developed industry-first three-dimensional printing equipment. His passion is to be a leader in the growth and development of people and products. Mark states “I strive to continuously improve, because with that attitude, one will always fully realize their capabilities.”
